Over the next few weeks, our student will have time to play outside, explore nature, draw, listen to music, build Legos, create things and read. We do not expect students to spend 2 1/2 weeks completing assignments or school work. We want to reduce screen time and allow them to be kids. We also do not want them to get completely out of the school mode and lose the momentum we have established in the classroom. Finding resources that are safe and reliable can be hard for parents, so we put together some learning ideas and web based learning tools that you can share with your student if you wish. We also encourage you to establish a schedule for your student and require them to help around the house. Daily reading is strongly encouraged. Read to and with your student every day to keep them on track. Below you will find some sites or ideas. This is not a comprehensive list and you will find lots of information on social media that include additional sites. If we find additional resources, we will add to the list below. We want to support you and your family as much as possible during this difficult time. We hope your student will enjoy some of these resources. Enjoy this time with your amazing kids!
